The new Saint James Church in the heart of historic Belvidere, Illinois employs the motif of arch of triumph which continues into the inside. Brick panels and arches decorate the exterior of the church, and large thermal windows bring plentiful natural light into the nave. The sanctuary is punctuated with a freestanding altar and baldacchino. The church will seat approximately eight hundred people, and is currently in the design development phase.
