The newly designed organ case at the Cathedral of Saint Paul in Minnesota is inspired by sketches done by architect Emmanuel Masqueray in 1915. This combined with the goal of maintaining visibility of the Rose window and resulted in the final design. The walnut casework and details include matching cantilevered towers, corbels, swales, and volutes that mask the newly restored and updated Æolian-Skinner organ.
